Do my visitors need Telegram?

No. They use the chat bubble on your site. Only you and your team use Telegram.

Does my team need anything else?

Only Telegram. Add them to the group the way you would add anyone to any group, and they can start answering.

Is scanning the QR code safe?

We sign in for about a minute and do four things only: create the group, turn on topics, add our bot and set the icon. We never open your chats or contacts. Then we sign that session out ourselves and Telegram confirms it, so the device disappears from Settings, Devices. Your livechat runs through our bot from then on and never needs your account again.

What if I stop using Bantergram?

The group and every thread in it stay in your Telegram. They are yours.

How long are conversations kept?

In your dashboard: 14 days on Free, a year on Pro, and as long as you like on Business. You can search them and export them as CSV or JSON at any time, and the messages in your Telegram group stay there either way.

Can visitors send photos and voice notes?

Yes, and you can reply with them too. Photos work on every plan. Files and voice notes need Pro or Business.
